We are Class Act Productions
Established in 2008, Class Act Productions is committed to producing morally conservative theater, while striving for quality and an encouraging atmosphere both on and off the stage. Class Act was established on the principle that live theater is an asset to every community, and is dedicated to two primary goals:

Meet Our Director
Abigail Bourne
Born right here in State College, Abby began her theater career with the title role in Anne of Green Gables. Since then she has performed several times with Faith Baptist Church youth productions including Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet. Her favorite by far however was performing Elizabeth Bennett in Pride and Prejudice with Solid Foundations. She has also portrayed Katherina in various scenes from Taming of the Shrew and in several vignettes portrayed Miss Haversham from Great Expectations. Most recently she was thrilled to portray Meg March in J. Richards Little Women, a Little Musical. She has directed Class Act Productions' performances of A Christmas Carol (2009), We Will Remember: A Tribute to Veterans, Anne of Green Gable, Cheaper by the Dozen, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, & A Christmas Carol (2018). Abby directed and wrote a script for Little Women which was performed in 2008, and continues to adapted and write scripts for full productions and theater camps. She works with various schools and theaters as a vocal coach, set designer, costume director, and assistant director. She is also excited to act as a volunteer choreographer with a local troupe, For Good, which offers an opportunity for persons with Down syndrome to participate in community musical theater and performance activities, while also offering members of the broader community the opportunity to observe, participate in, and celebrate the success of our performers. In 2011, 2012, 2016 she attended programs taught by world class instructors in the performing arts and looks for opportunities to hone her skills and craft.
Abby would like to express her gratefulness to her family for their ever present support and encouragement, and to her Lord, the Author of creativity!
